We made a trip to grandpa and grandma Fortner's house for lots of swimming and fishing. Lucky for us Lynnette and her crew drove over one afternoon after Cub Scout Day Camp and spent the remainder of the day with us. It always takes awhile for the kids to warm up, but by the time it's time to part ways they are best buds and planning for their next get together.
It's wonderful having a friend like Lynnette. Even though we don't get to see each other as often as we would like - when we do see each other it's as if a day hasn't passed since we last saw each other. There is something comforting in that kind of friendship. I am blessed to have Lynnette as my friend. We've known each other since we were about 6, but we've been friends since we were in Mrs. Lance's 6th grade class! My how time flies.

long lasting friendships are so sweet! it's great to see lynnette and all the kids - you girls look like you just graduated ;) wish we could all see each other more....
It is nice to have such a long lasting good friendship. And fun to watch your kids play together.
