It all started just about 2 weeks ago

First, there was this.
Sadie got right up as if it had not been a mere 7 months since she had boarded last. The water was still a bit cold, so the kids opted for the tube which is always fun. I even got right up on my new wakeboard. We went with our friends the Degns. It was a blast.
Next, we did this. Tahoe could not have been more beautiful. It was unseasonably warm. The kids got in the water, I dipped my toes in, but it was just a bit too chilly for the adults.
Here's the the man in charge having that "in charge" look. He loves that hat because it keeps the sun off his neck. Earlier in the day he could not find it and thought perhaps it had been lost, fortunately, it was found and it adorned his head throughout the day.
Sadie and her friend Aubrielle, a.k.a., Bob. Ring pops and watermelon are always a big hit on a sandy beach.
This is miss Evva. The ring pops weren't as big of a hit with her. She kept dropping hers in the sand. Which would make her get very frustrated and cry. She looks so happy here. From the looks of her non ring pop stained mouth this pic was snapped before her ring pop trama. Who knew eating candy could be such a challenge. Go figure.
