Spring Break

We thought Connor looked so cute with this little bow in his hair. He even let us take a picture . We all had a good laugh.
Ella wanted to get in this tree so badly. Once she was up there she held on for dear life.

We went to the park and flew kites.
We climbed trees.
We flew more kites. Ella actually had quite the knack for getting hers up in the air.

We celebrated with lots of Double Cream Blueberry pie for Sadie's birthday celebration.
We went to Sonic. We had never been and it was really fun. They really have some great drinks.

For spring break this year we really wanted to get out of town and just relax, but that did not come to fruition, so we stayed home instead. And actually it turned out to be a glorious week. I decided that if we had gone on vacation there were lots of things we would not have had to do, for instance, make our beds, do laundry, go to bed at bed time, etc. You get the picture. We found ourselves (me and the kids mostly) saying, "Oh, if we were on vacation we would not be able to practice piano.", and other things like, "If we were on vacation we would definitely eat that, or rent that, or wear that, or buy that." So that is what we did. All week. And it was really nice. There wasn't much yelling or fighting. Just a whole lot of doing what everyone wanted to do.
